We've been busy, there's another new Feature called Fugs KLX110. It has all the latest mods and tweaks that our favorite website contributor could come up with. He built this up to be in direct competition with my new little baby, the Polini XP4T, so stay tuned to see how they measure up. Don't panic, the fiddies aren't forgotten, I bring them everywhere I go and have a blast on them.

Last night at the Bookoo Arenacross: (11/10/06)

Pro Pit Bike rider TJ Russell was racing hard, then makes the decision to sling-shot around the berm, ran flat out towards the catapult, never shuts off and launches 70' through the air! Came up just a "little" short and
double folded his bike breaking the front-end almost off!! The crowd went crazy, the pro riders watching the race closed their eyes, the announcer was speechless, the paramedics couldn't believe it!! TJ waved to the crowd and carried his bike off the track

HiPerTechnology offers beadlock rims for you fiddy. If you slip your wheel in the rim, first try upping the tire pressure to 20 psi. If it still slips try a rim lock like you have on your big bike. Oh man, this should be out here where it snows all winter. An indoor mini track in NorCal. Check it out at Warehouse909mx. Here is Josh Dreadmores description. It is Northern California's premier indoor mini-cross track. The track is dedicated to mini riders, complete with a tunnel jump, rhythm sections and all you would expect from a national caliber indoor facility. You will see that what is offered is huge for mini riders, it provides a place to play and train, complete with a mini performance shop and support team to help riders reach new levels.

Hey man I hope all is going well for you!!  Just wanted to see how your holidays are going!!  And also to let you know Team Fast50s raced 2 weeks ago.  I raced in St. Etienne France at the French Mini indoor Supercross!!  I got 3rd in the 10" pro main event and after a a flat tire 8th in the Super Final. Sent a pic along!! Talk to you soon.

New Feature now is the TTR50. It's brandy new and here to stay, so we'd better get used to them. Check out my new page for them here. Red Baron Racing has a few new products on my bike (plastic, graphics and swingarm), and while I'm in there I talk a little about the pro's and con's of the chain wrapping around the front swingarm pivot. Not a good thing.

The new video everyone's been talking about, 50 FRENZY 2 is reviewed right here. Filmed in exotic locations all over the globe, you have to ask yourself why we aren't all doing this, all the time? Company sponsors are a who's who of the fiddie industry, I don't think anyone was left out.

I just got my issue of the 50sBrotherhood racing paper, and it rocks! I don't seem to have the attention span of a fruit fly lately, but I read this rag front to back. Very good, down to earth writing. Cruise their website and see what the Aussies are up to.

 

Left Coast Minis is a Canadian fiddy source. Ohio 50 Freaks, all I can say is wow. A couple Polini shots. A lot of nice products are at 3rd Gear Racing

AHP Minis has an over the top brake lever that's pretty unique, plus many other parts. Not sure what's happening here, but the pictures you send in can be 800 x 800 pixels. Lately they're coming in real small. Also, you have to be wearing a helmet for action shots. Thanks!

PitRacer magazine has been with us for one year.....and counting. The opening editorial from editor Steve Cox sums it up great, they are rounding for Lap Two, and you should be riding with them. The Fiddy world need specialized magazines for dealers to showcase their products and stay alive. The big bike magazines test fiddies like oddities, but PitRacer and Mini Moto are here for us, and only us. Subscribe now and keep them going, they are great mags and worth the read. Full glossy paper throughout, and will definitely be collectibles in a few years. They can get you all the back issues no problem.

There's a new product called "the grim reaper clutch" from Horstman Cycle for your fiddy. It stays an auto clutch, but has better grab and lighter weight.  50stunt.com is a site about, you guessed it, stunts on 50's. Always entertaining. Mini4-stroke.com just opened for business. SoCal hotshoe and PitRacerMagazine test rider Mike Sleeter and friends have dived into the fiddy world. Updates and specials should be coming from them shortly, and hopefully some accessible pit girls.

 

Famed50s is a new site for fiddies. It starts with shirts and stickers, but that's just the start.
